The band still sounded great, considering the venue. I thought they were excellent, although I didn't catch the name of the opening act. The sound was very good thanks to a very talented sound man. Showcase Live in Foxboro has, I think, the worst set up for seeing a band. Musically, they've still got it. Every other bar in America, and probably the whole world, is the other way around. Think about it from the band's point of view. Do you want to look out and watch people standing up and grooving with the music or eating their dinner? Although "Cities on Flame" would have been the ultimate encore, the worst part was the venue. They have tables right in front of the stage, and you stand up in the back. Although the bartender's uniforms were spectacular.
